I was desperate to do a beautiful photo shoot of my newest little love…

Unfortunately being the mum and the photographer after a c-section just before xmas meant that it was really never going to happen.

I was pretty upset about this, yet it was just the way it was

Anyway, I did manage a couple of photos when he was 12 days old in my bedroom…

Oh how I love him.

I am delighted to announce that on december 16th, 2011 a beautiful little boy entered the world at 7.16 am by c-section.

weighing in at 2.9 kgs and  49.5 cm long ~ he is just perfect we think!!!

Here are some photographs taken by my OB/G’s secretary, the lovely Jane, who came into theatres to watch the c-section.

Both Jane and Michael (my OB/G) knew we were having a boy, yet the rest of us had no idea. In fact, we were expecting another little girl to join our family.

Here are two gorgeous Canadian boys out here for a holiday – Parker and Conner.

Their first week here was filled with rain and more rain, yet finally the clouds cleared and they headed to the beach where we met for a quick photo shoot.

I consider myself very lucky to have photographed these stunning children every christmas for the last few years since they moved to Australia.

Their lovely mum always comes up with fun, creative ideas for their christmas card – and this year was no exception – and then we grab a few portraits.

Here are two gorgeous sisters. Miss Ava is 4.5 years old and she was such a sweet and beautiful little subject to photograph.

Miss Amelia is just over 2 and at that fun, fiesty and not interested in photographs age. She was a tough little cookie to shoot – it seemed that nothing worked when we tried to get her to look towards me, and in fact, she was much happier looking everywhere except towards me. She did however manage to glance up briefly a couple of times and I captured some of her big personality in these lovely shots of her. It was well worth the wait…
